SimpleStow ver. 2.2 is published
We are pleased to announce release of revised and improved SimpleStow version 2.2 – our flagship software for container stowage planning and data processing.
Since release of the first version of SimpleStow the program steadily gains popularity: over 1200 individual and corporate customers have already registered and downloaded the software. Based on their priceless feedback and practical suggestions we have further developed the program.
Along with general improvements and bug fixes the updated version offers several new and useful functions. The most noticeable of them are:
- New and improved report engine generates crystal-clear reports. Graphical bay plans now are rendered in best quality at any page format and scale ratio.
- A function to check correctness and completeness of Equipment ID number according to ISO 6346 standard is added. This check can be turned On and Off.
- Added new method of container stowage directly in the bay plan by Equipment ID number. Now user can enter Equipment ID in a cell and the program will automatically find that container in the Cargo List and load it. Watch a brief video demonstrating this method on YouTube.
- Improved functionality to model and render bay plans for open-hatch ships where bays are not physically split by hatch cover on to deck and hold sections.
- An option “Begins with…” added in the Cargo List filter.
- Added ability to change certain parameters directly in the Cargo List table.
